KaYFLoWeR 2011 - Korean Youth Florida Winter Retreat

This retreat was a blessing to be a part of - and once again God was opening my eyes to the spiritual needs of the world around me. Although I was critical at times of the messages or the worship, I got out of the way and let God do His thing. The youth in Florida testified of encountering the power of God’s Love - sharing stories of deliverance from pornography addiction, self-affliction, eating disorders, and more. Who knew that these 11, 12, 13, 14 year old’s struggled with these things? Who knew that these kids who ran about so freely came from homes where the dads and the moms would fight every night?

From the surface, this retreat looks like foolishness. A bunch of yelling, crying, screaming people in a room with loud music - yet prayer changes things we cannot see. At the end, 12 youth stepped out to commit to full time ministry. Wow. PTL.
